Take a black and white, or colour photocopy of your photo ID e.g. Passport, Driver’s Licence or birth certificate (if you are enrolling a child under sixteen years of age).

A member of the AE team can do this when we meet with you or another approved referee can be someone who is at least 16 years of age and one of the following: Police Officer, Justice of the Peace, Lawyer, Accountant, Minister of Religion including your local Iman, Doctor, Teacher, Notary Public or a Member of Parliament, who is not related to you or your spouse and does not live at the same address as you. If you don’t know anyone, please contact us and we will help you.

It is a requirement of the NZ legislation set out in the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009). We need a copy of a document showing your name and address e.g. bank statement, New Zealand Government department statement (including IRD) or New Zealand utility company statement (i.e. electricity, gas, phone, Sky). The address must match the address on your application form. If you don’t have one, please contact us and we will help you.

You can do either. If you email the application form (info@always-ethical.com), please then post the original application form and accompanying documents to us. Our postal address is:

If you are working, you will need to complete a KS2 form (available at www.ird.govt.nz or we can send you a form) and give it to your employer, manager or HR person. This tells your employer the amount of deductions to be made from your salary: 3 %, 4%, 6%, 8% or 10%. If you are not working, then you can arrange an automatic payment with your bank to AE KiwiSaver Plan.

How to make Voluntary Contributions to your AE KiwiSaver Plan

Members of AE KiwiSaver Plan can make voluntary contributions at their bank or via online banking direct to Always Ethical’s bank account. Our account details are as follows:

This information is important to identify the ownership of the funds deposited.

If you go to Australia, you can apply to have your AE KiwiSaver Plan money transferred to an Australian Superannuation Fund. Please note that your employer’s contributions as well as your contributions will be transferred, however, any Government Contributions will not be. If you permanently emigrate to another country, after twelve months you can apply to have your AE KiwiSaver Plan money transferred to a nominated account. Please contact us and we will send you the necessary documents for completion.
