Take a black and white, or colour photocopy of your photo ID e.g. Passport, Driver’s Licence or birth certificate (if you are enrolling a child under sixteen years of age).

It is a requirement of the NZ legislation set out in the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009). If you are working, you will need to complete a KS2 form (available at www.ird.govt.nz or we can send you a form) and give it to your employer, manager or HR person. This tells your employer the amount of deductions to be made from your salary: 3 %, 4%, 6%, 8% or 10%. If you are not working, then you can arrange an automatic payment with your bank to AE KiwiSaver Plan.

Please note that your employer’s contributions as well as your contributions will be transferred, however, any Government Contributions will not be. If you permanently emigrate to another country, after twelve months you can apply to have your AE KiwiSaver Plan money transferred to a nominated account.
